Baby Boot Camp: Teaching Your Children to be Responsible
Would you like to experience the best of motherhood? By using a sneaky back door approach (Hey—we’re
dealing with kiddos here!), I share how being weak, impatient, selfish, and lazy can help you raise more
responsible, conscientious children. Working backward from age 18, we’ll use practical resources—ranging
from age-appropriate chore charts to timers to organizational systems—to help you teach your children to be
responsible.

No More Cookie-Cutter Kids: Target Your Parenting to Your Unique Child
Like snowflakes, no two children are exactly alike. By identifying a child’s specific personality type, you can
more effectively parent your sanguine, melancholy, choleric, and phlegmatic children. We’ll also discuss
learning styles, kids’ needs, birth order, and love languages to help you better love, discipline and motivate
your unique child.

Renaissance Kids: Raising Well-Rounded Children
Parents sign children up for organized sports at younger ages than ever before. Fearful of increasing
competition, parents don’t want to wait till their kids are older to begin athletics. But isn’t there more to life than
sports? In this session I share specific steps to help you help your children choose age-appropriate, balanced
activities that will help them to become more well-rounded.

Say Cheese: The Ups and Downs of Child Modeling/Acting
Have you ever thought your child looked like the Gerber baby? My three children have been involved in
modeling and acting for a combined total of fifteen years. In this session, I tell you how to get your child
involved, the ups and downs of the business, and how to make modeling a part of life—not the central focus.

The ABC’s of Effective Discipline
Who’s in control in your house? If it’s not you, I can help by sharing discipline strategies that are easy as ABC.
“A” stands for Authority in the home. I encourage parents to avoid extremes—being Dictators or Pushovers—
with regard to discipline. “B” stands for Boundaries, which we need to establish early—the younger the better.
And “C” stands for Creativity—how discipline should be applied.

Don’t Wait Too Long: How and When to Talk to Your Kids About Sex
By identifying specific resources, I help equip you for those all-important discussions with your kids concerning
marriage, sex, childbirth, STDs, privacy issues, abstinence, and dating. Relying on a scriptural foundation, I
encourage you in your quest to rear children who make godly choices regarding purity and marriage.

Bookworms: Teaching Your Children to Develop a Love of Reading
Do video games rule in your home? Is it next to impossible to get your kids to read a book? I reveal strategies
and tips to instill a love of reading in young children that will last a lifetime. A bonus: I’ll share my family’s
recommended reading list—selections to read with your child and books kids devour on their own.

Using empathy peppered with humor, I communicate simple strategies to help you prepare your child to start
school. Covering everything from after-school activities to good behavior in the classroom to school supplies, I
